Telangana’s Sindhuja Reddy has found a place in the US women’s national cricket team. The 26-year old has recently shifted to the US after her marriage where she has been selected as a wicket-keeping batswoman. She would be a part of the side in World T20 Qualifiers to be held in Scotland in August. She is hoping to be a part of the US squad in the ICC Women’s World T20 in 2020.
The Telangana-born woman has captained Hyderabad’s Under-19 cricket team and was also associated with local clubs. The selectors of US were impressed with her batting and wicket-keeping ability.
